Printer Poem

Found in the paper tray
Coffin of lost thoughts*

There are two sides
To a document and

An unseen hand
On the manual setting

Turns and returns
Or doesn’t

The other side
Didn’t print

Where are the words?
Inside the machine

Or in the ether
Suspended on a cable

You, unknown printer poet,
I pull your page
